The briefing
Rockstar’s official site presents the Vice City Collection as a collector’s box through the Rockstar Store. It is part of the game’s wider merchandise campaign, alongside apparel and other collectibles.
A collector’s box and a game edition answer different purchasing questions. The game product establishes the platform license and edition benefits; merchandise has its own contents, stock and delivery terms. Read the individual store listing before assuming one supplies the other.
Check the actual bundle
Inspect the included-items list, shipping destination and whether the product explicitly includes a game license. Promotional artwork can appear on both game and merchandise listings, so the image alone is insufficient to identify what you will receive.
Keep the launch purchase clear
The editions guide compares Standard and Ultimate, while the launch-preparation guide explains format and preload. Use those references for the software purchase, then decide whether the separate collection is something you want to display or keep.
